I used to tell myself maybe they were going through something. Then I realized I was going through things too and I still never treated people badly.

I’ve been thinking a lot recently about building, growth, and direction. Over the past few years, I’ve moved countries, built products, started companies, made mistakes, learned hard lessons, met amazing people, and started building something bigger than I initially planned. One thing I’ve realized is that life rarely goes in a straight line. Most of the time, you’re just figuring things out, adjusting, learning, failing, fixing, and continuing. Right now, I’m focused on building Hafrik and a few other things around community, technology, and media. Still building. Still learning. Still growing.

Bar No 3 Shanghai Eminently comfortable cocktail bar close to Jiaotong University. The drinks aren't cheap, but they're made with quality and love so you won't feel ripped off. They've got about 50 drinks, mostly in the 80-100rmb range, and some Kentucky beers. There's several couches and low seating areas, a bar with space for twelve, and a few tables outside, plus jazz music on the stereo at a perfect volume. Simple and elegant, it's a good spot for a date.

They honestly have some of the best shisha I’ve tried. So many flavors and you can adjust the strength to your preference. My personal fave? Earl Grey 🤍 Smooth, slightly sweet, and different. My question is: ⁠1: Does self-defense legally exist in China? 2: If someone attacks you, how much are you allowed to defend yourself? 3: Is there more leniency if you’re protecting your family? 4: How do police usually tell the difference between self-defense and “mutual fighting”?
