Honestly the loneliness hit harder than I expected when I first arrived. Between missing family and adjusting to everything, I went through a rough patch. Now I'm learning to be intentional - gospel music, fitness routines, and just talking to people helps so much. How do you all

Salaam aleekum frères, nanga def? Been here twelve years and still learning from younger traders coming through. The ones who ask questions, who listen, who take time to understand the market - they're the ones who stay. If you're thinking about this business, find someone patien

Learning Chinese is harder than I thought but these street vendors keep teaching me new words when I order food. Anyone else picking up the language while eating? 😄

I still remember my first weeks in China. New city, new language, no idea who to trust. I joined endless WeChat and WhatsApp groups, asked the same questions over and over, and still made mistakes I could have avoided: paying too much, trusting the wrong people, and learning things the hard way. If I'd had a platform like this back then, a lot of that would've been different. That's exactly why Hafrik was built. It's one place where Africans in China can find their people, get real answers from those who've been there, and trade and live with confidence. 🌍🇨🇳 If you're new here, welcome. You don't have to figure it out alone. Ask, share, connect. That's what we're here for. 💛 #Hafrik #AfricansInChina

Excellence and Success Excellence is giving your best in everything you do, even when no one is watching. Success is not achieved overnight; it comes through consistency, discipline, learning, and perseverance. When you make excellence a habit, success becomes a natural result of your efforts. Keep learning, keep improving, and never give up on yourself.

Mark Twain put it well.Mark Twain put it well. "Continuous improvement is better than delayed perfection." Progress you can see builds trust you can feel. 5 micro - habits that beat perfectionism: 1. Ship the 80% version. Set "good enough for feedback" and release it this week. 2. Define "done for now." One clear outcome, one owner, one date. Review with data later. 3. Reduce the surface area. Change one variable per iteration. 4. Shorten the loop. Monthly, then weekly, then daily. 5. Make learning visible. What changed, what you learned, what's next. Share it. Did you ship something before it felt ready this quarter? If yes, what changed? Repost if this message resonates with you. Let's discuss it in the comments. + Follow us for more on the future.
