Building has tested me in ways I never expected. As CEO, tech lead, product thinker, problem solver, and sometimes the person holding everything together mentally, it has not been easy. There were moments of excitement, but also frustration. From dealing with Apple challenges and technical roadblocks, to handling life itself while still trying to build something meaningful. People often see startups from the outside and think it’s just about launches, funding, or big wins. What they don’t see are the sleepless nights, the uncertainty, the pressure, and the discipline it takes to keep going when things are not moving the way you hoped. But despite everything, I’m still here. Still building. Still learning. Still believing in what Hafrik can become. This journey is shaping me as much as I’m shaping the company. To every founder, builder, engineer, designer, or dreamer carrying weight behind the scenes, I see you. We keep going.

Less than 24 hours to launch. On the 13th, we made the decision to push forward and officially launch the full native Hafrik app. Since then, it’s been intense. Not just building and fixing things, but constantly thinking: Are we doing this the right way? Is there anything we’re missing? Can this be better? One thing I’ve learned through this process: Clarity doesn’t come before you start. It comes as you build. The more you build, the clearer the vision becomes. The clearer the direction becomes. But even with that clarity, there’s still a certain pressure that comes with bringing something real into the world. Especially when you know people are going to depend on it. The past two weeks have also come with challenges, especially with app store approvals. It hasn’t been smooth. But we’re here now. And we’re ready. Hafrik is more than just an app. It’s a platform built to connect people to opportunities, services, and a community, starting from China and expanding globally. If everything goes as planned, we go live very soon. Let’s see how it unfolds.

Little thoughts in my head, I want to share... Do you remember those days when some kind of struggles seemed not to go away, or seem to be on some kind of repeat🤦, you begin to wonder is this a test or am I just suffering for no reason 💔😂. Oh well I believe there's something very important that when you learn it in that situation you not only overcome, but you're strengthened to do better in future challenges, basically it's all some kind of training ground I guess 🤔

2025: Lessons, Growth, and Moving Forward As I look back on 2025, one theme stands out for me: growth through movement. This year, I made the decision to leave my city and step into a new environment. It wasn’t comfortable, but it pushed me to think bigger, build smarter, and challenge myself in new ways. Leading and developing Hafrik as an ecosystem, while growing HafrikPlay , #HafrikTV and other projects, demanded resilience, clarity, and discipline. Entrepreneurship isn’t just about ideas. It’s about adapting, making tough calls, and staying focused when things are uncertain. One important lesson stood out: 👉 Don’t force people into a vision they don’t believe in. Create movement. The right people align themselves. Not every decision paid off. Some sacrifices didn’t return what I expected. Some seasons required slowing down and restructuring. But there were meaningful wins: clearer systems, better direction, stronger confidence in where we’re going. Someone asked me recently: “What do you do for fun?” That question made me rethink balance and sustainability. Building matters. Living intentionally matters too. I also want to say thank you. To my co-founders and teammates at HafrikPlay: Omobosola Alaka ,Abolaji Alaka Destiny Ezenwata thank you for your dedication and belief in the vision. And to everyone who has contributed in any way across the Hafrik ecosystem, your support, ideas, and effort truly matter. As I step into 2026, I’m carrying clarity, discipline, and determination. When I first moved to China in 2019 , I felt both excited and isolated . But over the years , I meet amazing people, people I could really relate to , we cried, laughed, and survived the challenges along the road . I made the best memories with them . It is very important to find your own community of people , people you know got your back no matter what !!!!
