  • So I’m currently in Guangzhou, and something interesting happened today.

I went out to eat with a friend. He kept insisting on this particular spot, like “this place is really good, you’ll like it.” But I was also pushing for somewhere else.

Funny thing is, we’ve both actually tried each other’s spots before.
He’s been to mine and didn’t like it. I’ve been to his, and I didn’t like it either.

But somehow, we both still stood our ground

So we ended up going to his spot. We ordered, ate… and just as expected, he enjoyed his food, and I still didn’t.

    Now I’m just thinking…

If we had gone to my own spot instead, would it have been the same thing?
Would I be the one enjoying it while he’s just there wondering what the hype is?

Same city, same food… completely different experiences.

Is it just taste? Or something deeper?

  • It's funny how we can speak so much about a country we've never been to, but once we travel there our opinions just fade

  • Are you ready to be the right person?

We spend so much time searching for the “right person” that we forget to look at ourselves.
Everybody wants someone kind, loyal, funny, patient, understanding… but very few are actively working to become those things too.

Real connections don’t start with finding perfection in someone else. They start with becoming a better version of yourself — building your character, healing, learning, and growing.

When you stop looking outward and start improving inward, you shift from being a seeker to becoming a source of light.
And when you carry that light, you naturally attract people who match your energy.

So instead of asking, “Where is the right person for me?”
Ask, “Am I ready to be the right person for someone?”

That answer comes from self-reflection, effort, and the willingness to grow.

  • Can you believe I have been living in China for over 6 years now and I’ve only been to Guangzhou twice!!!
My first time there I was frustrated of how they were so many stairs had to carry my big suitcase up many stairs!
And is funny how I would find my country mates everywhere, let’s not even talk about the food , it was to good 🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️
I didn’t get the chance to really visit many places but I will definitely go again! (The sun there is worst then here lol)
