Started my internship at a construction firm here last month and honestly the site work is nothing like textbooks showed 🏗️ The engineers actually explain their decisions, not just hand you tasks. Anyone else doing internships in Changsha? What's your experience been like so far?

Cooking rice today and man, the water ratio here feels different from back home, kept coming out too dry. Anyone else struggle with that or is it just me being picky about my rice?

Planning to check out that new fabric wholesale spot near the train station this Saturday, heard they got better prices on cotton prints. Might grab lunch after if I find anything worth it. You hitting the markets this weekend or taking it easy?

Jumping on the metro after work got me thinking, these lines are actually packed at rush hour but somehow everyone just flows smooth. How you normally get around, metro or you prefer taxis?

Salaam aleekum frères, nanga def? Been here twelve years and still learning from younger traders coming through. The ones who ask questions, who listen, who take time to understand the market - they're the ones who stay. If you're thinking about this business, find someone patien

Been using Meituan for like two weeks now and honestly it's smooth, arrives faster than when I jump between apps trying to compare prices. You sticking with one delivery app or you're like me switching around all the time?

Abeg shipping kenkey back home has been my headache lately o. The ice packs melt halfway through, some arrive spoiled and my people start complaining. I'm thinking maybe I should just send the ingredients instead and let them cook themselves. Has anyone found a way to ship food p

Tried making jollof rice today but the local rice tastes different somehow, came out a bit dry. Does anyone else cook with the rice here or am I doing something wrong 😅 What rice brand you all use?

Foshan factories are something else, bruv. Been sourcing tiles here for years now and the quality keeps improving, but you gotta visit in person, see the machines, talk to the owners face to face. Pole pole, no rush. You planning to come check them out yourself? 🧱

A haiku is a traditional Japanese poetic form built on a strict structure of 17 syllables split into three phrases:
    Line 1: 5 syllables
    Line 2: 7 syllables
    Line 3: 5 syllables
Rooted in Zen philosophy, classical haikus focus on a fleeting moment in nature, a specific season (called a kigo), and the quiet contrast between permanence and change. Modern haikus can explore any theme, but they always rely on vivid imagery and minimalism—painting a complete picture with just a few words instead of explaining an emotion.
