Today was something different. 🇨🇳 We visited a Traditional Chinese Medicine clinic here in Shenyang and brought a few people along to experience it with us. From consultations and learning more about Traditional Chinese Medicine to actually experiencing acupuncture 😅… it was definitely an interesting day. One of the biggest reasons we wanted to do this is the language barrier many foreigners face when seeking healthcare in China. Being able to communicate and understand what’s happening makes a huge difference. I know there are many people who have different health concerns but sometimes find it difficult to visit Chinese hospitals because of the language barrier. You may not know where to go, how to explain what you’re experiencing, or even how to communicate with the doctors. Recently, I visited a Traditional Chinese Medicine hospital in Shenyang, and honestly, my experience was good. I received treatment there and I’m feeling much better now. One thing that really stood out to me is that they can communicate in English, which makes the experience much easier for foreigners. So we spoke with the team, and we decided to do something a little different. This Monday, we’ll be taking a few people with us to experience Traditional Chinese Medicine, including acupuncture, and the checkup/experience will be FREE.
