Talking About Daily Activities
Welcome to Class 4 of our Chinese learning series! In this lesson, we’ll focus on how to talk about daily activities in Chinese. These are useful phrases you can use right away in everyday life.
đ Morning Activities
- è”·ćș (qÇ chuáng) – Wake up / Get up
- ć·ç (shuÄ yá) – Brush teeth
- æŽèž (xÇ liÇn) – Wash face
- ćæ©é„ (chÄ« zÇo fàn) – Eat breakfast
đą Daytime Activities
- äžç (shàng bÄn) – Go to work
- äžèŻŸ (shàng kè) – Attend class
- ćŠäč (xué xí) – Study
- ććé„ (chÄ« wÇ fàn) – Eat lunch
đ Evening Activities
- äžç (xià bÄn) – Finish work
- ććź¶ (huí jiÄ) – Go home
- çç”è§ (kàn diàn shì) – Watch TV
- çĄè§ (shuì jiào) – Sleep

Here are some easy examples you can use:
- æäžçčè”·ćșă (WÇ qÄ« diÇn qÇchuáng.) – I get up at 7 o’clock.
- ä»ć «çčäžçă (TÄ bÄ diÇn shàng bÄn.) – He goes to work at 8 o’clock.
- æä»ŹæäžćçčçĄè§ă (WÇmen wÇnshàng shí diÇn shuì jiào.) – We sleep at 10 p.m.
