• b. Usage Information: We collect information about your activity within the app — including posts, comments, likes, wallet usage, HafrikMall interactions, messages, and user reports.

• c. Device Information: We may collect information such as your IP address, device ID, browser type, operating system, and device settings.

• d. Wallet Transactions: When you manually fund your Hafrik wallet (e.g., through bank transfer), we may collect related details such as transaction IDs, payment receipts, and transfer confirmations for verification purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

• a. To Provide Services: We use your data to deliver and manage services including your account, social features, HafrikMall transactions, wallet balance, and user interactions.

• b. Safety & Moderation: We may review content and reports to ensure compliance with our community guidelines. We use your information to identify and handle abusive users and protect community safety.

• c. Communication: We may send important updates, policy changes, or service notices to your registered email or in-app notifications. You may adjust notification preferences in your settings.

• d. Analytics: Aggregated, anonymized data may be used to improve the app’s performance, analyze usage trends, and develop new features.

• e. Legal Compliance: We may use or disclose your data to comply with Chinese laws or government requests, respond to legal processes, or protect our legal rights or the safety of others.

• a. With Other Users: Content you post (e.g., comments, photos, posts, business listings) may be visible to others based on your privacy settings.

• b. With Service Providers: We may share limited personal data with trusted service providers for services like hosting, analytics, moderation tools, or payment verification. These partners are bound by confidentiality and cannot use your data for unrelated purposes.

• c. For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your data if legally required or if we believe it’s necessary to enforce our Terms, protect our users, or investigate fraud or abuse.

4. Use of Cookies and Tracking

Hafrik does not use cookies for advertising, behavioral tracking, or user profiling within the app.  Cookies are only used to store basic preferences and improve the in-app experience, such as remembering login sessions and interface settings.

Some features within the Hafrik app load web-based content using embedded WebViews.  These webviews are hosted by Hafrik and may use cookies strictly for functional purposes (e.g., keeping users signed in or storing language preferences).  

We do not use cookies in our web content to track users across websites or link data with third-party advertising services. When users follow external links to third-party websites, those websites may use their own cookies or tracking mechanisms.  

Hafrik has no control over the cookie practices of third-party websites and is not responsible for their data policies. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with data brokers or third-party advertising networks.  

As Hafrik does not track users for advertising or marketing purposes, the AppTrackingTransparency (ATT) framework is not required.

5. Security

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no system is 100% secure. You are responsible for protecting your login information and devices.

6. Children's Privacy

Hafrik is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If such data is found, we will delete it promptly.

7. Third-Party Services

Hafrik may link to third-party websites or tools. This Privacy Policy does not cover their practices. Please review their privacy policies before submitting your data.

8. Data Localization and Compliance

All data collected in China is stored on servers located within mainland China and managed in accordance with the country’s Cybersecurity Law and other applicable data protection regulations.
