Q Visa

1: Definition

If you are a family member of a Chinese citizen or a foreigner with permanent residencein China, you can apply for a Q visa to come to China!

2: The scope of applicants

Spouse, parents, parents-in-law, children, children's spouses, siblings, grandparents, maternal grandparents, grandchildren, and grandchildren-in-law

3: Q1 and Q2

Stay in China for > 180 days, and apply for Q1 visa.

Stay in China for ≤ 180 days, and apply for Q2 visa.

S Visa

1: Definition

If your family member is a foreigner working or studying in China and has not yet obtained permanent Chinese status, you should apply for an S visa.

2: The scope of applicants

Spouse, parents, parents-in-law, children, children's spouses, siblings, grandparents, maternal grandparents, grandchildren, and grandchildren-in-law

3: S1 and S2

Stay in China for > 180 days, and apply for S1 visa.

Stay in China for ≤ 180 days, and apply for S2 visa.
